We began working on this update to celebrate the pattern approaching 20,000 Ravelry projects and it's now at over 22,000! 2024 might just be the year of Musselburgh!

Musselburgh is the perfect project for anytime you want a nice big chunk of soothing stockinette in the round, but I know the centre-out beginning can be a little intimidating. To help you get started I've made a video walking through getting started, from choosing your yarn and needles to measuring the gauge on your crown in progress.

Looking to get creative? The updated pattern now includes measurements for how long to make each section and tips for incorporating stripes, colour blocking and using scrap yarns.
