January blues? Cast on a Musselburgh for instant joy!
Hi Reader, and happy new year from team Ysolda! We're currently busy moving studio, but wanted to pop in with a little Musselburgh love for you! I'm sure it will come as no surprise to anyone that Musselburgh was our best selling pattern of 2023 - and for good reason! It's a super versatile swatchless hat that comes in sizes baby to adult XL and can be used with lace weight to DK yarns. Musselburgh is quickly approaching 20,000 projects on Ravelry! If you feel in a bit of a creative slump this January, we suggest you take a look through the projects and get inspired by what everyone else is up to with this simple hat design. And to help you along, there are currently two Musselburgh KAL's taking place over on Instagram! @smcarn and @circletoes are hosting the #MonsterMusselburghKAL2024 until January 31st, knit by using up your scrap yarns (just enough time to get this one done I'd say!) @spincycle_yarns are also hosting the #SpinburghKAL (see what they did there?) until February 29th, where you knit up your Musselburgh using at least 50% Spincycle yarns.
