Hi Reader! Meet the Cabin Slippers, the latest pattern in Knitworthy 7! If you've already purchased the collection check your inbox for a separate email with download links. Haven't ordered the collection yet? You can now purchase Knitworthy 7 on both ysolda.com and Ravelry. You'll be able to download the Coracle Cowl, Crown-Shy Beanie and Cabin Slipper patterns immediately after purchasing. The collection includes a total of 6 patterns: you'll receive a new surprise pattern in your inbox every other Thursday. The Cabin Slippers were made to be easy to put on and hard to take off; the perfect accessory for snuggling up under a blanket and watching the snow fall. A wide size range means you can knit them for all the family, or stock a basket to give your guests the ultimate warm welcome to your home. New to Brioche? The Cabin Slippers combine two of my favourite, snuggly stitch patterns: brioche and garter stitch. If you've never worked brioche stitch before this project is a great place to start, and we have a couple of handy resources. Our free Daniel's Hat pattern includes a step-by-step photo tutorial for working single colour brioche stitch in the round (in other words, exactly what you'll be doing at the beginning of the slippers). If you'd like a little more detail our online course Knit a Brioche Accessory will help you really master the technique. Through clear video lessons and step-by step photo tutorials you'll learn to work brioche stitch flat, in the round, in one and two colours, and all the increases and decreases you'll need for the slipper pattern. If you've already ordered the collection but haven't received your pattern yet, make sure to check your junk mail in case it's ended up in there! You can find details for how to add the collection to your ravelry library by downloading the file: Knitworthy 7 release info with Ravelry access.pdf |
